Sales Policy:
Reservations will be added to a waiting list in the
order they are received. Once a doe has kidded, we will contact the
first person on the waiting list. To hold your kid, we require a $100
deposit for doelings and bucklings or $50 for wethers via check or PayPal.
Please add a 3% increase for PayPal transactions. If we do not hear
back from you within three days, we will offer the kid to the next
person on the waiting list. Please note that unfulfilled reservations
from an earlier kidding may carry over to the next doe's kidding in some
cases. Kids can be picked up when they are weaned
(about 10 to 12 weeks). If kids are not picked up by the agreed-upon date,
buyers may be subject to a $2-per-day boarding fee. Deliveries may be
available at our discretion for an additional fee. All goats we sell are healthy to the best of our knowledge when they are
picked up, but we can't offer any guarantees after leaving our farm.
Unless arranged otherwise, we
will vaccinate, tattoo (except wethers, unless requested), and disbud
the kids. Kids will be raised by their dams, but will be fully
socialized with people. All of our breedings come from ADGA-registered
goats. Buyers will be provided with the paperwork for ADGA registration,
which will be completed and paid for by the buyer. Kids will come
pre-named.
If you don't already have goats, we will only
sell goats in pairs. Goats cannot stand to live alone. We reserve the
right to refuse a sale for the welfare of the goat. We also reserve the right to retain kids from any pairing.
Permission
is granted to buyers to use Arlington Acres photos for their website
pedigrees. A link to our website would be appreciated. We will do our
best to inform buyers of any milking stars or awards that our goats earn
in the future. Likewise, if any of your goats from our herd receive a
show award or milking star, we would love to hear about it!
Note:
We don't plan on selling bucklings from our does' first kiddings, so
that we can evaluate their milking ability. If you are interested in a
buckling rather than a wether, please talk to us.
